There are some amazing facilities on campus including: Assembly Hall: has nearly 16,000 permanent seats and large floor space making it the perfect venue for all types of athletic events. Atkins Tennis Center: is one of the premiere college tennis facilities in the country. The center boasts six indoor courts and eight lighted outdoor courts. The Campus Rec Center: features a 3-court gym for basketball and volleyball, 10,000 sq. ft. of strength and conditioning space, 1/8th mile indoor track, temperature controlled pool, zero depth entry, water slide, and spa as well as multi-purpose space for inline hockey, indoor soccer, and more. Memorial Stadium: is home of the Fighting Illini Football team. It currently accommodates seating for over 70,000 people. Memorial Stadium is the place to watch Big Ten Football. In addition to the University of Illinois, Champaign is also home to Parkland College.
